For fun, I showed Andy this ranking and asked him, “Which one are you?”
As clear as can be, he said, “5.”
Yup, I would have to agree with him and I’ve got the pictures to prove it!
HE KNOWS A CHICKEN BONE (or better yet, a Turkey bone!) WHEN HE SEES ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mmmm, like who can demolish a fowl like this??? Well, in my family it’s my mom! My mother gets the credit for handing Andy his first chicken leg when he was a baby! Yes, she did! I don’t remember the exact occasion but I know he learned from one of the best….his Grandma! LOL! She showed him the ropes and she wasn’t messing around. He followed her lead and there was no turning back. Bare bones were in his future!
Most of us tend to like the white meat in our family, but tradition has it that we cook up a few Turkey legs too, all for Andy (and Grandma!) One Thanksgiving we forgot the legs and it was a mad rush to please my boy! Thank goodness, Andy’s cousin, Haley, came to the rescue! She had some connections with the small town gas station that keeps broasted chicken on hand and so he had his feast!
I’ve made a ton of chicken legs for this boy and he will clean up every one of ’em. And, another picture to prove that he’s definitely a number 5! I’m not sure why, but I found this chicken bone in his water cup. I guess he thought that was the perfect way to display his victory! I laughed and was kind of grossed out, all at the same time!
